Arbutus Ridge Golf Club
A Hidden Jewel on Vancouver island

The Arbutus Ridge Golf Club was voted the Best Destination Golf Course in British Columbia by readers of Golf Nerve Magazine in 2006. Etched in your memory will be three of the most demanding finishing holes on Vancouver Island, punctuated by the knee-rattling 214-yard par 3 island green on the 17th hole. The team at Arbutus Ridge is active with the Audubon Society and has formed a Greening Committee to preserve and protect the environment.

Arbutus Ridge is located in the seaside community of Cobble Hill amongst nine of Vancouver Island’s finest wineries and 10 minutes from the cultural city of Duncan. The terrifically scenic 40 minute drive from Victoria or Nanaimo prepares you for the pure natural charm of the country setting. Arbutus Ridge is aptly named for the characteristic Arbutus trees that surrounding the Bill Robinson designed championship course.

GOLFER'S
COMMENTS

"Arbutus Ridge's Sales and Events Coordinator is the best in customer service that I have encountered at any golf facility, and better than most high caliber hospitality outlets I have stayed in or worked with.  I have attended many golf tournaments and have yet to experience service and hospitality that is superior to our event at Arbutus Ridge"
  - Graham Hawkins, Chef’s Association

"All the staff were courteous, accommodating and helpful… they made us feel comfortable, welcome, and made the day a great success at Arbutus Ridge!"
  - Deb Doubinin

"Earlier this month my wife and I enjoyed playing golf at Arbutus Ridge and the experience was simply first class. The staff were friendly and most helpful and the course was very well groomed and maintained, providing the quality of golf that made our trip from Ontario more than worthwhile. Our thanks to all for making our visit to the west coast everything we planned on."
  - Bob & Chris Dixon, Ottawa, Ontario

“The management and team that they have here (Arbutus Ridge) are outstanding.  All I can say is from the golf course, restaurant, management crew and the golf shop it is absolutely top notch”
  - Arif Lalani, Arbutus Ridge Member

“Never mind the name Arbutus Ridge, How about Arbeauty Ridge?”
  - Todd Saelhof, Calgary Sun

“A picturesque offshoot in the shadow of Salt Spring Island.  An excellent blend of price and playability, Arbutus (Ridge) offers terrific variety for golfers of any level”
  - West jet Up Magazine

“A round at Arbutus is like playing through a petting zoo; the deer are numerous and, having no natural predator, the fawns are fearless”
  - Michael Hiller, Avid Golfer

“The General Manager, department manager and team members are wonderful, respectful, helpful, and hard working individuals.  The view is spectacular and guests/members tend to be appreciative.  I am impressed with the initiative that the golf course has taken to be environmentally friendly in comparison to other businesses.  The promotion of people to continue or begin to play golf with a positive attitude through GolfBC is an achievement.”
