Located in the beautiful Oceanside community of Parksville, just 25 minutes north of Nanaimo, Morningstar is one of the province’s most challenging and beautiful golf courses. Score Golf magazine rated Morningstar one of BC’s top 10 public golf courses in 2009. Home to the final qualifying event for the Canadian PGA Tour in the spring, host of the 2010 Canadian Senior Ladies Royale Cup Championship and home for the 2019 Canadian Senior Men’s Championship. The challenging layout can be stretched to 7018 yards from the back (Gold) tees but allowing for comfortable yardages to suit all players. Morningstar will appeal to all golfers of all abilities and remains accessible and enjoyable to everyone.

The Les Furber design blends from links (1 and 2) to forested areas of magnificent cedar and pine throughout the classic design that has provided the stepping stone for Mike Weir, Steve Stricker and many other touring professionals to earn professional cards on the Canadian Tour. Morningstar recently had the distinction of having two of its holes listed among the top eighteen golf holes on Vancouver Island.
